location
Corshill is only a few miles from the motorway (M9).
From Edinburgh/Glasgow: take the M9 motorway heading for Stirling/Perth. Leave at exit 10 and take A84 heading for Doune/Callander/Crianlarich. Travel for about 4 miles along this road until you come to Blair Drummond. Exit left onto the A873 for Aberfoyle. Travel for 2 miles along this road, Corshill is on the right hand side of the road on a bend (white house and buildings). The house is in front as you enter the property and the Smiddy and Stables are on the left.
Edinburgh and Glasgow (airports) and Rosyth (ferry terminal) are within one hour’s drive.
There are also good rail links to the area, the main station being Stirling (6 miles) but there are smaller stations in Bridge of Allan (10 miles) and Dunblane (6 miles).
Thornhill
Finally, the friendly village of Thornhill is under one mile away and has a great village shop and post office, which is open 7 days a week and sells nearly everything you could need, with fresh bread deliveries and newspapers every morning. Thornhill also has an excellent pub serving good food in great surroundings.
